OFFSTUDIO ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our applications.

1. Information Collection and Use

• Personal Information: We do not require users to create an account. We do not collect personal identification information (such as name, address, or email) unless you voluntarily provide it by contacting us for support.
• Photo Library Access: Some apps by OFFSTUDIO may require access to your device's photo library to provide certain features. All photos are processed locally on your device and are strictly NOT uploaded to our servers or any third party.
• Advertising (AdMob): Some of our apps use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect or use device identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS), ad interaction data, usage data, and approximate location derived from your IP address to show, measure, and personalize ads. On iOS, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is accessed only if you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. For more information, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Analytics (Firebase Analytics): Some of our apps use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used and to improve service quality. The data collected may include app usage events (such as screen views, feature interactions, and content metadata such as report IDs in the Dart app), in-app purchase events (see below), your plan status (free / paid), device and app information, and a randomly generated app user identifier. In some iOS apps, this identifier is created when the app is first launched and stored in the device Keychain, so it may remain after the app is deleted and reinstalled; other apps use the instance identifier generated by Firebase, and on Android it is a randomly generated UUID stored by the app. This identifier does not contain your name, email, or other contact details. The IP address may also be processed by Firebase as part of standard analytics. In apps that display ads, if you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, Firebase Analytics may also collect the advertising identifier (IDFA) for advertising measurement. • In-App Purchases: Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment details. Some of our apps record purchase-related events (such as purchase started, completed, or cancelled) together with the product identifier, and whether a paid plan or ad-free option is active, in order to provide the purchased features and understand how the paid options are used. We do not collect card numbers, billing addresses, or receipts.
• Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics): Our apps use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports so that we can diagnose and fix stability issues. Crash reports include the stack trace of the error, device model, operating system version, app version, and the app user identifier described above. No contact information (such as name or email) is intentionally collected.
• Performance Monitoring (Firebase Performance): Our apps use Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure app start time, screen rendering performance, and network request latency (including URLs of API requests, response codes, and response sizes). This data is not linked to your app user identifier and is used only to improve app responsiveness.
• Network Infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers): Some of our apps (including Dart) route API requests through our server on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may temporarily process your IP address for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and routing, and it stores the records described in "Data Stored on Our Server" below. Cloudflare's data handling is governed by their privacy policy.
• Data Stored on Our Server (Dart): To provide free usage limits, purchased features, and new-filing alerts, the Dart app (iOS and Android) stores a small set of records on our server, keyed by a hashed device identifier (a SHA-256 hash of the device's vendor or Android identifier; the original identifier is never sent). These records are: usage counts for free limits (kept for about 2 days) and the date you last used the service (kept for 90 days); your paid plan status, such as the plan type, expiry date, and when and how it was registered (kept while the service is operated, so that your purchase keeps working); and, if you turn on alerts, your push notification token, the companies you chose to be alerted about, and your alert language (kept for 90 days after your last use and deleted when you turn alerts off). These records do not include your name, email, or payment details.
• Push Notifications: Some of our apps send notifications. Notifications scheduled on your device (such as reminders) are handled locally. Alerts sent from our server (such as new-filing alerts in the Dart app) are delivered through Apple Push Notification service (APNs) on iOS and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android, which requires a push token issued by Apple or Google. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in your device settings.
• Location (Weather): Some of our apps (such as DaySince) can show the local weather if you allow location access while using the app. Your location is sent to Apple WeatherKit only to fetch the weather and is not stored on our servers. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings.
• iCloud Sync: Some of our apps (such as DaySince) can sync your data across your devices using iCloud. This data is stored in your own iCloud account and handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we cannot access it.
• Integrity Verification (Google Play Integrity): On Android, our apps use Google Play Integrity API to verify that the app is a genuine, unmodified installation from the Google Play Store and is running on a non-tampered device. This helps prevent unauthorized use of paid features. No personal information is collected during this verification.
• Local Data Storage: Our apps store certain data locally on your device for functionality, including favorites, recent search history, viewing history (used to compute in-app statistics), user preferences (theme, filters), and cached API responses. This data stays on your device (or in your own iCloud account where sync is available) and is not transmitted to our servers, except for the specific items described above (for example, the companies you choose for alerts). You can clear locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the app.

2. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. The data described above is processed by third-party service providers (such as Google AdMob, Google Firebase, Apple, and Cloudflare) solely for displaying and measuring advertisements, analyzing app usage and performance, and operating our services.

3. Your Choices

On iOS, you can allow or deny tracking at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You can also reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings. Deleting an app removes its locally stored data; turning off alerts in the Dart app deletes your alert registration from our server. To request deletion of other data associated with your device or app user identifier, contact us at the email address below.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Where applicable, data processing happens locally on your device to ensure your content remains secure.

5. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. In accordance with the Republic of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), if you are under 14 years old, you must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before using our apps. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 14 without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
